  3. buy all your large pieces in classic styles and neutral solid colours that will stand the test of time. So invest in a neutral sturdy fabric or natural leather couch, and some good chairs. And when you want to try out new decor styles follow trends using your throw pillows and accessories. Buy classic lamp bases and only change out the shades when you want a change. Buy occasional chairs or ottomans that you can either slip cover or you would be willing to change the fabric on. I have desert tan couch and love seat, dark brown leather chair and ottoman, and in another room a mahogany soft leather couch and a chair that is on it's third fabric…they are all sturdy (25yrs warranty) stylish and classic. whenever I move I go with a completely new look and people always ask if that is the same couch or is that a new chair…

  4. Vinegar naturally cleans like an all-purpose cleaner. Mix a solution of 1 part water to 1 part vinegar in a new store bought spray bottle and you have a solution that will clean most areas of your home. Vinegar is a great natural cleaning product as well as a disinfectant and deodorizer. Always test on an inconspicuous area. It is safe to use on most surfaces and has the added bonus of being incredibly cheap. Improperly diluted vinegar is acidic and can eat away at tile grout. Never use vinegar on marble surfaces. Don't worry about your home smelling like vinegar. The smell disappears when it dries.
Lemon juice is another natural substance that can be used to clean your home. Lemon juice can be used to dissolve soap scum and hard water deposits. Lemon is a great substance to clean and shine brass and copper. Lemon juice can be mixed with vinegar and or baking soda to make cleaning pastes. Cut a lemon in half and sprinkle baking soda on the cut section. Use the lemon to scrub dishes, surfaces, and stains. Mix 1 cup olive oil with ½ cup lemon juice and you have a furniture polish for your hardwood furniture.

Put a whole lemon peel through the garbage disposal. It freshens the drain and the kitchen. Orange peels can be used with the same results.
Baking soda can be used to scrub surfaces in much the same way as commercial abrasive cleansers. Baking soda is great as a deodorizer. Place a box in the refrigerator and freezer to absorb odors. Put it anywhere you need deodorizing action. Try these three kitchen ingredients as natural cleaning products in your home.
    household cleaning applications.

Baking Soda – cleans, deodorizes, softens water, scours.

Soap – unscented soap in liquid form, flakes, powders or bars is biodegradable and will clean just about anything. Avoid using soaps which contain petroleum distillates.

Borax – cleans, deodorizes, disinfects, softens water, cleans wallpaper, painted walls and floors.

White Vinegar – cuts grease, removes mildew, odors, some stains and wax build-up.

Washing Soda – or SAL Soda is sodium carbonate decahydrate, a mineral. Washing soda cuts grease, removes stains, softens water, cleans wall, tiles, sinks and tubs. Use care, as washing soda can irritate mucous membranes. Do not use on aluminum.

Isopropyl Alcohol – is an excellent disinfectant. (It has been suggested to replace this with ethanol or 100 proof alcohol in solution with water. There is some indication that isopropyl alcohol buildup contributes to illness in the body. See http://drclark.ch/g)
Cornstarch – can be used to clean windows, polish furniture, shampoo carpets and rugs.
Citrus Solvent – cleans paint brushes, oil and grease, some stains.

  5. lol i just got this yesterday :)

  6. he means that when he downloaded them, he only got 4 of the 5 gamerpics, the hand is the missing gamerpic, also is there a way to get this disc? can i still get the magazine?

  7. Yeah, I love the theme, but a little irked that the “L4D hand” gamerpic was (apparently) not on the disc, since I was planning on using that for my gamerpic. Ah well, at least the theme is awesome.

  8. yes i have the same problem, it says there are 5 gamer pics, but when i download it from the disc it only has the 4: louis, bill, zoey and francis. it is missing the pic that has the hand with no thumb

  9. I haven’t gotten it yet, but apparently you have to play that damn OXM Universe thing on the disc, and you need to have acquired a bunch of points from previous discs. Somehow you have to unlock it by “researching technologies” and “hiring engineers” to build stuff. It’s rather confusing to me.

  10. where do you get the hand one? I coul never find it???

  11. you can use something called missing disk through OXM I don’t know exactly how it works. You could probably find out at oxmonline(.)com

  12. Oxm universe is lame, I don’t even know why they put it on the disc.
